I went to New York during... President's weekend I think? Well, we went as a theatre trip thing. We saw Phantom of the Opera, Newsies, and Rock of Ages.
I used to visit there many times because my father worked there. I also watched Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark in broadway. I partially like it, which includes the design of Spider-man, Green Goblin's face, extra Spider-man stuntmen, and the songs written by Bono and Edge. What I didn't like about that musical are the wrestling match scene (which merely just used a huge ballon as a wrestler), some silly masks (which are worn by criminals and some citizens), several villain designs (like swarmer, the lizard, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Carnage), except Swiss Miss, and Green Goblin's wings, which are supposed to be gliders in the real Spider-man universe.
How did you like the Phantom of the Opera? Was it better than live-action film?
There was a Gangnam Style performance on New Year's Eve. It was way much better than Justin Bieber singing Let it Be.
